Thug In Me
Looking at Chance, you would think he is just your average thug. But he is not. The product of a single parent, in Springdale Projects, Chance promised his mother he would always do better.
At he age of 21, with a little thug in him, Chance graduated from college, landed a job, his own home and has a beautiful girlfriend named Toi.
And he did it all the legal way. He is nothing like his homeboy Calhoun, a drug selling deadbeat, who won’t get his life together, not even for his two kids.
On a fateful night, Chance’s life is forever changed. Chance is falsely accused of his death and sentenced to 20 years to life in Prison.
Chance, labeled a cop killer, loses everything: His job, his home, girlfriend, his mother and almost his mind.
The only thing Chance has is a Nice lady named Deyja that becomes his pen pal and writes him while he is in prison, who he falls in love with.
After spending seven years in prison, Chance cleverly devises a plan to get out, and is successful. Chance is now an ex-convict-a thug.
He finds Deyja but does not reveal his identity to her for fear she will want no part of an ex-convict.
Opposites that long ago weren’t so opposite, attract, and Deyja finds herself falling for this thug whose touch and love making she just can’t get enough of.
Old friends come back into the picture. When Chance finds out who Deyja really is, Chance has the choice to tell Deyja or risk her finding out on her own.
More secrets are revealed, leading to an explosive ending. Will Chance and Deyja move forward together or will the past destroy them?
